We visited the Shawnee Mission Park dog park this weekend...great time. We've also been to the Lee's Summit park as well. Are there any other wide open dog parks in the metro area? I know of the one behind Liberty Memorial...but it appears a bit "busy".

There is a dog park located in Santa Fe park in Independence.

There is a great dog park at Heritage Park in Olathe (159th & Blackbob). It has a long (1/2 mile??) walking trail, a swimming pond, picnic tables & benches, and a lot of open area. Very nice and worth the drive.
