We have adopted 2 wiems from Heartland. Our 5 year od femal is great. Our 2 year old boy has started peeing in the house. 5 times in the last 2 weeks. He does it even if you are standing next to him, even if he just went out to pee. I can't think of any changes in his routine. Same food. Same Crate. Any suggestions.

Catch a sample and run it to the vet, he could have an infection. How long have you had the male? Have you contacted Heartland to see if this has been in his history?

No infection and no history of any infections. He has now done is 3 time in 6 months. He just seams to do it for no reason. Walks right up to you and pees on the floor. He doesn't even hike his leg.

Was he an owner turn in? I would recommend an obedience class to help with bonding to the family and you could always get him a belly band to wear in the house. It sounds to me like it's a dominence issue. ---------- Toni Eichholz Harmony Weimaraners www.geocities/grayce.com Weim Designs!!! www.cafepress.com/weimetc

I agree about the dominance issue. What is a belly band. He has not peed in the house in 2 months. It is getting better. Yes he is a rescue. We have had him 11 months.

Belly bands are a wrap used on male dogs that has a closure usually made of velcro... it prevents the dog from pee'ing on anything but themselves...which they won't want to do. ---------- Toni Eichholz Harmony Weimaraners www.geocities/grayce.com Weim Designs!!! www.cafepress.com/weimetc
