hi guys! i am finally getting a friend for nixie. he's a 1 1/2 year old boy named Cleatus. i have a few Q's for 'those in the know' about the transition. such as: dog food bowls... one set for each dog? or do they share? cleatus is a boy...should i worry that nixie is a girl? *winkwink* any/all info advice on how to make this a smooth process will be helpful. to be honest, i dont even know what questions to ask... we go pick him up the friday after thanksgiving. he's a blue EXACTLY like nixie...they could be twins, literally! thanks for your help everyone! one big concern...cleatus is crate trained, nixie refuses to step foot into one. how shall i go about making them both comfortable? would it be safe to keep cleatus in the crate with nixie outside the crate while i'm at work? or just leave the door open so he has the choice? help! :) wendy n nixie
