We contacted "Wendy" who was going to post on her website with photos--knows the story. In any case we thought we were "rescuing" a female weim and one of our workers was going to take--didn't work out with wife-so we have had "Bella" for about 2 weeks--she is close to 9 months--now in heat--(but we bought the diaper etc.) She has really come a long way--stays in invisible fence yard/ happy just laying around house/better when visitors-kids come in--my boys are 9-10 so lots of in/out, potty trained---its just we have 2 parrots and a shitzu, our painting "season" is right around the corner and we'll be gone long hours--so we really really need a good home for her. Anyone interested call Steve at 913-231-8450. Thanks a bunch-Paula

Please have this dog spayed before you place her. If you don't, you risk setting her up to be a puppy mill/hobby breeding dog. I would also suggest you contact the breeder to see if she'll take the dog back.

Currently we don't have a rescue section of our website do to the club having only a handful of active members. I would suggest you contact Heartland Weimaraner Rescue as well, to see if they have a foster home available.

Do not leave this dog unattended outside while she's in season, especially in a underground fence situation, as a stray dog will breed her and then there will be more unwanted puppies in the world.
